Get to know Jay

Jay is a loyal but emotionally torn character in The Port, shaped by a promise to his dying mother to look after his brother Flud. That responsibility becomes harder to carry when Jay falls in love with Stacy, especially because Stacy is tied to a painful family conflict through EJ, whom Flud shot.

Jay’s main conflict is duty versus desire. He wants to honor his mother’s final wish and protect Flud no matter what, but his growing feelings for Stacy pull him toward a different life and a different future.
